Celebrating the life of
Jane Howard Cesaroni
July 21, 1965 - September 15, 2018
Surrounded by her family and friends, Jane Howard Cesaroni, 53, passed away on September 15, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Jane was born and raised in Thunderbolt. Ga. and lived there most of her life, with adventures in Athens and Atlanta. She graduated with honors from St. Vincent’s Academy in 1983 and attended the University of Georgia.
She was the daughter of the late George P. Howard Sr. and Mary Barbot Howard of Thunderbolt. She is survived by her husband, Chris Cesaroni, her step-son, Christopher Cesaroni, her mother-in-law, Arlene Cesaroni, her brother, George P. Howard Jr. (Carol), her niece, Brittany Howard Burke (Jason), and her grand-nephew Hayden Edward Burke.
As an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Jane served on the Social Ministry committee, bringing the needs of people in the community to the attention of the congregation. As a supporter of the Dream Dachshund Rescue of Atlanta, Jane adopted two pets in need, Cassidy and Milo, giving them the home and family they both deserved.
Jane was a homemaker. She loved cooking for her family and caring for her step-son, Christopher. Born with a generous spirit, Jane was the first to arrive with a casserole and a hug for a friend in need. She quietly nursed many of her friends and family members back to health and strengthened the faith of others when it was their time to leave this world. She selflessly cared for her father for many years prior to his passing, filling their home with love and humor and giving happiness to his final days.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Jane, far sooner that we should.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 9:00am on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Barbot, Patrick Howard, Kevin Reidl, Schpeedio Adams, Jermaine Harmon, and Troy Weekes.
May the thoughts of knowing that friends and family share in your grief be of comfort to the Cesaroni family for the loss of your dear loved one. May the love of family and friends as well as the words at “Psalm 147:3” and “John 5:28,29” continue to help you get through these most difficult times.

"Successful is the person who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of children, who leaves the world better than they found it, who has never lacked appreciation for the earth's beauty, who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
